About Zihan
Zihan Xue has been working on building emotionally balanced designs for the “emotionally deprived” this year. He specialises in building emotionally balanced concepts and designs that incorporate not only psychology but also human behaviour and sociology. With the core concept of “emotional resonance and humanistic care”, his projects help the “emotionally deprived” find or maintain emotional balance through innovative furniture design.
In his view, furniture is not only an object to fill a space, but also has the unique ability to resonate with our emotional frequency and become a silent companion in our daily life. Home is a magical place! It is so much more than just a physical space. It is more about our deep need for security, love and belonging, and it is also the most emotionally rich place to be.
In a modern society where people are increasingly concerned about mental health and emotional needs, Zihan will not only focus on the form and function of the furniture, but will also touch on the emotional and psychological needs of the user. Through design, the emotional connection between users and furniture is strengthened, emotional relief and psychological support are realised inadvertently, which ultimately improves the quality of life of users, and satisfies and helps them to find their own emotional support according to different needs to obtain emotional comfort when they face daily pressures and challenges.
