Ziqi Fang

Innovation Design Engineering (MA/MSc)

About

With a background in Human-computer Interaction(HCI) research and product design, Ziqi is a multidisciplinary explorer and innovator, aiming to transform the way we interact with our environment. Her over ten years of fine art study from a young age has fostered a critical and creative thinking approach that allows her to reimagine and reshape reality. She is particularly fascinated by the complex interactions between health, food systems, and ecology, and this fascination has led her to commit to the fields of human-food interaction, sustainable HCI, and healthcare design. Her project, Denpal, is an effective at-home diagnostic tool for early detection of personal caries risk by leveraging bio-based pH detection material, aiming to reverse and prevent growing cavities.
