Design Products (MA)

About

I am Huang Yaoduo, from China.  I am a designer who cares about the well-being of other creatures and is committed to exploring designs related to the moral creed of non-violence.

In this silk project, I am committed to the well-being of silkworms. I try to use the cocoons left after the silkworms complete the entire evolutionary cycle to make silk products, and re-examine and explore the existence of silk products from a humanitarian perspective.

How to make the design industry more ethical is an issue I have always been concerned about. Design should not be “human-centered”. Exploring the balance between the natural and artificial world is the purpose of my design.
