Linc (Liqian Yin 尹立千) is a versatile Product Designer with a background in Industrial Design and UX Design, now specializing in digital product design with a focus on interface, interaction, and experience. Passionate about XR, AI, and IoT, Linc is dedicated to creating products that foster deeper connections between people and the world around them. For Linc, design and creation are essential ways to explore and understand the world.
As his Independent Research Project, he developed Nova, a wearable AI device that fits on your ear to offer an Ambient Intelligence experience. It is equipped with a large language model and features a camera to perceive the surrounding environment. Nova enables users to interact with AI through a simple, intuitive language interface, assisting with both major and minor tasks in everyday life.
During his time at RCA, Linc collaborated with Snapchat on an AR project. This project featured an adorable AR experience at bus stops, encouraging Londoners to use more public transportation to reduce carbon emissions. He is currently a Product Experience Designer at Tencent WeChat, where his designs will impact nearly 1.4 billion users and help people connect with each other and the world.
