Xuanya Pan is a textiles designer and mixed media artist.In her work you can see lot of innovation of traditionalculture with the modern technique.The material she choose shows the diversity of textiles that she wants people to sense the beauty of textiles.
Compares to the digital practice she feels more enjoys about the hand making and hand painting.Natural plants dye ,watercolour ,flowers dying, velvet flowers ,silk flowers are all her essential practice in her work.
Flowers,Power of Nature,Divine femininity,Living Spirits,Cosmos are the key words of her art.Her recent practice is the “Witch Garden” which is a mixed media installation.By using Arduino ,sensors ,motors ,bone
s, silk, bio-material to show audience the magical garden and the enchanted plants she create.
