Lingfei Peng is a London-based artist with a background in Fine Art and Graphic Design, now working in 3D animation.
Lingfei’s graduation project at RCA, “The Doll” is a 3D animated short film. It tells the story of Hebephilia in a subtle way, leading the audience into a secret world constructed by symbols. Lingfei uses Jacques Lacan’s theories to re-interpret the novel Lolita, exploring the silent and impermeable influence of visual language on the structure of the story.
