Artwork Introduction

“Gestural Whispers”is an innovative jewellery design project by Jiale Zheng, aiming to explore the role of body language in emotional expression and psychological healing through the medium of jewellery. The project draws inspiration from her deaf-mute cousin’s gesture-based communication, sparking her interest in sign language and body language. The series includes “Promise Series” and “Nervous Series,” with each piece capturing and conveying rich emotions and messages through unique designs and materials.
