About

I am a designer who doesn’t like being put in a box, delving into the study of user behaviour and motivational logic to harness technological innovation in pursuit of user experience excellence, thereby driving service innovation and value creation.

My past six years as an architect have taught me the importance of intellect, aesthetics, and passion in perceiving and transforming the world through a design lens. Beyond my architectural explorations in parametric manufacturing, energy-saving technologies, adaptive reuse, and the preservation of historical buildings, I have collaborated with startups and non-profit organisations, engaging in brand innovation and new media arts.

During the academic year, I won the ‘Redesign Women’s Health Hackathon’ championship in Maternal Health Track with my teammates in collaboration with Imperial College. In the Costa Rica animal conservation project, we partnered with Stampede, OPPO, and local guides to propose a novel audio journey that transforms the tourist visitation form, enhancing the user experience while balancing the environmental pressures of tourism, aiding the local industry in its transformation and upgrade. In the project focusing on AI emotional companionship, extensive research and discussions on AI technology were conducted. Together with psychologists, RCM music psychology students, and PhD student in IC computer science, we developed a user-centric AI emotional companion tool, imbuing technology with a humanised significance.

Through continuous practice, I gradually clarified the intricate service systems and pivotal nodes behind every service provider and user, and also realised the social significance of design. I will continue to absorb and convey the love and power that comes from design in my future design career.
