About
Vaishakhi Wasnik (b. 2001, India) is an multidisciplinary designer who brings unique perspective to non-human world. Her practice revolves around themes of environmentalism and bio-art, with a focus on unveiling the hidden intelligence of natural systems. Drawing inspiration from ecological theories and sustainability efforts, she employs interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative technology to translate the non-human language into captivating visuals. Through her work, she aims to raise awareness about the interconnectedness of all living beings and provoke thought and dialogue about our relationship with the natural world.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in visual arts, Vaishakhi’s academic foundation is complemented by a specialisation in UI/UX, with a particular focus on UX research and the meticulous crafting of optimal experiences. Her professional trajectory includes valuable contributions to design studios, where she has assumed roles as a UX designer and, notably, as a team lead. Her approach is anchored in imbuing empathy and perspective into every design, with the overarching goal of creating intuitive and meaningful interactions.
