Contemporary Art Practice (MA)

About

Junwu Chen (b.2000), his creative practice is mainly based on the medium of photographic images and combined with multiple mediums. Focusing on the social reality and the loss of the individual’s mind, as well as the connection and disconnection between nature and man under capitalism, he tries to explore the intermediate state of change and the interaction of things through the construction of allegorical images and objects. His recent research interests focus on biotic and ecology, exploring the symbiotic relationship between natural and artificial objects. Through this, he aims to metaphorically represent the deformation and alienation of individuals within the social environment.
