Jiayi Pan
About
Jiayi Pan’s designs focus on emotional and relational design, aiming to enhance the emotional connection between humans and animals through the details of product interaction.
She keenly perceives the emotional complexity of pet design, especially cat product design. By closely observing the living habits of cats, Jiayi gains more inspiration. She utilises a variety of materials and production techniques to create more interactive and caring pieces. Jiayi’s goal is to expand the target audience for pet products, ensuring that they are visually appealing to pet owners and provide care and support for the pets themselves.
Jiayi’s design philosophy is user-centred and she believes that design is not just about product development, but also about conveying emotions and building relationships. She sees pet design as a communication channel between people and pets that can transcend language barriers and create deep empathy between the two. Jiayi believes that through interaction, the emotional bond between people and pets will be strengthened.
Through her designs, Jiayi hopes that every user, whether human or animal, can feel care and warmth and enjoy a better quality of life and emotional experience.
