Stephen Lam
About
Stephen Lam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design Technology for Fashion Industry from the University of Arts London (UAL). He also graduated with a Master in Service Design from the Royal College of Art (RCA) in 2023-2024.
He is a creative and dynamic leader with over 20 years of design management experience in the fashion industry. He has a strong technical background from Savile Row and has worked in UK, Hong Kong, and China markets for fashion design management. He has experience in product merchandising and fashion design, effectively combining rational analysis of market demand with perceptual thinking about product development direction to integrate design management experience into emerging domestic markets. He designed a sustainable eco-shop sack that was nominated for both the Asia Design Award (DFA) and the Global Design Award (GDA) in 2016.
In today’s social and economic instability, the development of the fashion industry has encountered problems and difficulties. Stephen hopes to leverage a multidisciplinary approach to service design, understanding user needs and behaviors, integrating them into fashion business strategy and addressing pain points. For example, he will work with different stakeholders across the marketing team to align business priorities with the strategic mission and ensure a consistent link between design, brand and retail service.
