Holly Souza-Newman is a biologist turned designer with a passion for the environment and technology. Her extensive background in life sciences and design has led her to innovate at the intersection of these fields. Holly has been awarded the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 design studentship which supported her studies, which recognises her contributions to design and science.

Cyanoskin: An algae-based paint designed to absorb carbon dioxide. This living paint transforms buildings into carbon-capturing structures, effectively reducing urban pollution and promoting sustainable city environments.
Urban Elegance: A mobile sculpture inspired by the traffic lights in Japan, merging art with urban functionality.
Plateo: An AI health companion that predicts microbiome health, counts calories from photos, and integrates with wearable devices to provide a comprehensive view of personal wellness.
