Beth Cowey
About
Beth Cowey (b. Glasgow, 1996) is an artist currently based in London.
Beth is the recipient of the Clyde Hopkins Mentoring Award 2024 and the Aidan Threlfall Travel Scholarship 2024, which she will use for a period of research in Orkney, Scotland. She was also shortlisted for the Valerie Beston Award. Beth previously graduated from BA(Hons) Painting & Printmaking at Glasgow School of Art (2018) and has participated in exhibitions in the UK, Germany and Sweden. She has completed artist residencies at Studio Pavilion and Dumfries House, Scotland. In August 2024, Beth will exhibit in an RCA group show at L.L Contemporary, Ontario, Canada and have a solo exhibition at 20 Albert Road, Glasgow.
