Dongwon Park
About
Dongwon Park (b. 1991, KR) is a video artist whose work combines design and art, drawing on Bauhaus and northeastern aesthetics. He specializes in digital technology related to aesthetic perception.
He creates mixed installations incorporating sonic experiences, objects, and video art, exploring the intricate relationship between memory and perception through interaction with spectators.
He has a background in design and art philosophy from Musashino Art University in Japan, where he was awarded a grand prize for excellence in his graduation work for both his BA and MA. At RCA, he has developed technical methodologies and spectator engagement based on real experiences, which are relevant to his focus on visualizing aesthetic perception.
