Yongxue(Tico) Tian is a graphic designer with a passion for exploring the profound ways in which symbols can convey deep meanings. Her work blends creativity with clarity, aiming to craft powerful narratives that resonate on a deeper level.

Her latest project, Fragmented Fidelity, delves into the evolution of Shanzhai culture in China, examining its role in challenging cultural hierarchies and promoting grassroots creativity. Through this project, Tian highlights the nuanced and dynamic nature of contemporary Chinese culture, showcasing how Shanzhai serves as a unique vehicle for cultural production and innovation. By engaging with these themes, she strives to connect with audiences both professionally and personally, fostering a greater understanding of China’s evolving identity.
