About

Qinyang Li(b.1998, China) is a multimedia artist currently based in London, UK. She works predominantly with installations and prints. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Printmaking from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, in 2021, and holds a master’s degree in Print from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2024.

In her practice, she uses patterns, photos, and reconfigured ready-made objects, transforming them between two-dimensional images and three-dimensional installations. Her intent is to gently respond to the non-linear impact of memories and explore the complexity and contradictions between distance and intimacy. She highlights the coexistence of calmness and potential violence, examining the personal as political, and connecting these themes to broader social structures and environments.
