"Project Jogakbo: Narrative Collage by Korean Women" focuses on gender inequality in South Korea, inspired by the traditional Korean patchwork, Jogakbo. The project collects and highlights the voices of Korean women, using the symbolic power of Jogakbo to unite individual stories into a meaningful statement. This project utilizes a multi-dimensional approach, including a co-creation workshop where Jogakbo was created, resulting in varied practices such as an audio-visual VR experience and film. In South Korea, gender inequality is a significant issue, evident in the low birthrate and substantial workplace inequality. The urgency of these issues, along with the rise of feminist movements, motivated me to create a platform where these voices can be heard and connected, providing a space for Korean women to share their experiences and advocate for change.

"Transient journeys are moments of flux." We have designed an ambient AR experience to find hidden third spaces around London during liminal bus commutes. The experience uses the bus windows as anchor points to create a sense of magic when looking outside. We imagine a scene-scape with flying creatures that represent different typologies of third space. Attention through eye-tracking triggers certain creatures to fly towards you, where one may interact to find out more about the space. Information about the space is centred around the emotional memories of the community. From a technical perspective, we endeavour to use Reddit sub-threads as a dataset for NLP to generate a map of these third spaces automatically. Generative AI can then be used to create creatures with physical characteristics that reflect the nature of the space. *Collaboration work by Yule Wang, Kahlil Ismail, and Yuri Cho.

- Modern existence is a dance between expressing and suppressing emotions. “The Modern Symphony: expressing and restraining emotions” explores how modern individuals can integrate these stimulating elements into their lives in a balanced manner. Through the audio-visual interactive performance. we invite you to experience a symphony born from the interplay of emotional expression and restraint. The calming piano notes symbolize restraint, while dancing represents expressive movements. We utilized SOMI, a wearable sound interaction device, as an innovative technology that triggers sound with every movement during the performance. The choreography highlights this contrast with sudden, dynamic movements, emphasizing the interaction between sound visual elements, such as particle effects, which depict the explosion of expressions. *Collaboration work by Joan Kim, Jiyoon Kim, and Yuri Cho.

"Find My ID" explores the multifaceted identity of women navigating contemporary society in both real and digital realms. Inspired by the complex roles women play, this project highlights the necessity for adaptable personas in various contexts. Using MetaHuman Creator, digital personas are crafted to reflect these dynamic identities, offering a nuanced portrayal of modern womanhood. This project emphasizes the balance between societal expectations and personal authenticity, celebrating the resilience and adaptability of women. Through innovative digital technology, this project provides a unique perspective on the evolving nature of identity and invites viewers to reflect on their own roles and experiences in today's world.
