Cheng-Fan Wang, from Chiayi, Taiwan, is a graphic designer, illustrator, and educator with a background in visual communication and creative education. She holds a BA in Visual Communication Design from Taiwan and pursued an MEd in Creative Education at the Royal College of Art. She explores the dynamic intersections of visual and creative thinking. Passionate about visual storytelling, she is dedicated to enhancing educational experiences through innovative design approaches. Her practice aims to reveal the profound impact of visual expression in conveying complex emotions and ideas, bringing fresh perspectives to both the design and education fields.
Through her roles as a student, designer, and educator, Cheng-Fan Wang is committed to establishing equal communication with students, encouraging their unrestricted creativity and the freedom to generate new ideas. Her experience with non-profit organizations has also heightened her awareness of social issues, motivating her to inspire students to actively engage with society and make a positive impact. Her latest research explores the relationship between doodling and creative thinking, aiming to study the impact of different note-taking methods on the creative process.
