About

Yihao Qiu was born in Xingning, Meizhou, Guangdong Province, China, an industrial and product designer based in Shenzhen City, who approaches his research and design process from a perspective of humanistic care and emotion, aiming to infuse his works with exquisite emotion and a human touch.

​In response to the rapid development of technology, particularly the increasing integration of artificial intelligence into the design field, Yihao has focused on the psychological impact of AI on user groups, with a special emphasis on human emotions. By integrating AI technology, he aims to alleviate users’ anxiety and bridge the gap between people and AI by combining AI assist methods.

​Yihao has also explored themes of memory, identity, death, and burial. Attempt to redefine the grave through the study of the Asian philosophy of “Man is an integral part of nature”.

​Bringing a human touch into his work is a central aspect of Yihao’s design philosophy. He finds great fulfillment when his creations bring joy to others, believing that the warmth conveyed through his designs can foster connection and understanding between people.
