me
Lisa Lauderi is an interior designer and photographer from the Dolomites based in London, UK. She graduated with honours in Interior and Furniture Design from IED Firenze, followed by a Master’s in Interior Design at the Royal College of Art in London.
Her practice concentrates on spatial narratives, exploring alternative concepts of spatial development and vernacular architecture through a multidisciplinary approach, emphasizing the relationship between humans and their environment.

“Carved Topographies “is a speculative research-led inquiry into the future development of vernacular architecture.
In 2045, the collapse of the North Atlantic current caused a sudden cooling of the Northern Hemisphere and induced the artificial ice age. Without sunlight, crops failed, and the cold settled deep into the soil. The surface became a hostile place. To survive, humans retreated to the Systems, a network of underground shelters in the Scottish Highlands. The development of these Systems relies on advanced data and behaviour analysis, utilizing an algorithm that adheres to the principles of vernacular architecture.
