About

I am an architect and interior designer originally from India and now based in the UK. I have always been drawn to the transformative power of design. From a young age, I was captivated by the art and science of creating comfortable and inviting spaces. This interest led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, where I combined my passion for design with the technical skills needed to bring creative ideas to life.

My philosophy centers around the belief that the environments we inhabit profoundly impact our health and well-being. This conviction inspires me to design spaces that enhance the quality of life for those who experience them. After working in the industry for two years to gain a deeper understanding of interior design, I pursued an MA in Interior Design at the Royal College of Art. This program allowed me to explore how spaces can be crafted to provide a holistic and enriching experience for users.

During my time at the Royal College of Art, I was part of the SuperReuse Platform, specifically working on The Factory Project. This initiative focused on the adaptive reuse of a derelict industrial building located at 23-26 Gillender Street in East London. The site is a blend of Victorian and 1930s modernist architecture, situated within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

In response to the project’s challenges, I designed The Next Space, a development aimed at supporting graduates as they transition into the professional world. This project offers a range of facilities, including residential units, communal workspaces, studios, a library, and recreational amenities. The recreational areas are open to the public, fostering a sense of community and creating a vibrant environment where graduates can explore their potential and shape their future careers. Through this project, I was able to contribute to community-building efforts, aligning with my goal of making a positive impact through design.
