Directions - A series of artwork created from broken pieces of a Rubix cube.

Exploring the effects of weathering by forming layers on different materials like metal, cork, plaster and moss by casting a cube.

Creating a ‘space’ using the photographic documentation of unintentional patterns and textures on the ceilings, vertical surfaces and flooring in an abandoned factory building in East London.

Silent Narratives - A compression artefact representing a fusion of unintentional weathering patterns interwoven with intentional ones, resulting in a mesmerizing tapestry of textures.

Hello! I’m Roma, an architect from Pune, India.

I harbor a profound enthusiasm for both architecture and interior design, and I thrive in environments that challenge me to surpass my current abilities. My journey in this field is fueled by a genuine love for creating spaces that go beyond simply fulfilling functional requirements; I strive to design environments that resonate on an emotional level, enhancing the quality of life for those who experience them.

I am inspired by colors and nature. Each project I undertake is a chance to merge functionality with aesthetics, creating spaces that are not only practical but also profoundly inspiring. My approach to design is holistic, considering every detail to ensure that the spaces I create tell a unique story.

Following two years of industry experience as an architect, the MA Interior Design program at the Royal College of Art has been a transformative milestone in my journey as a designer, enriching me with the expertise, insights, and confidence to make a profound impact in the field of interior design.

I am driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a commitment to continuous learning. The ever-evolving nature of architecture and design excites me, and I am eager to work in a setting that encourages innovation, collaboration, and growth. I am not just looking to contribute my skills and creativity; I am also keen on being inspired by others and expanding my own horizons.
