About

“ME”

As an interior designer who is constantly learning, I have expanded my exploration of sustainable materials through my studies at SuperMatter Platform. My passions for culturally and environmentally sustainable design will inspire me to experiment with incorporating cultural spirits, interactions, and narratives into the design of spaces.

PROJECT

Using the ‘cracks’ as an introduction, I realized that Norton Folgate holds a lot of precious memories and stories of local residents.

By exploring the collective stories and memories of the area, I try to use the site as an emotional hub that connects the neighbourhood with a sense of belonging and identity. That’s why I decided to follow the culture of the area, which is characterized by textiles. I wanted to provide a space to restore these lost artifacts and repair processes, using the restored objects to connect people’s identities and emotions, and the process of restoring the objects is also the process of people healing their psychological cracks.
