Chang Meng is a transdisciplinary artist, adeptly navigating the fields of AIGC art, experiential art, and multi-material installations. With a background in musicology, experience design, and arts humanities, her work transcends disciplinary and sensory boundaries. She inhabits a position close to ecofeminism, examining the exploitation of nature by humans and the dominant power dynamics within society. Chang uses experiential art practices as a medium for long-term research and applying her theories, aiming to create a more inclusive and caring future.

Decoder/Encoder 2024
“Decoder/Encoder” is a composite art experience space comprising an interactive installation and an Al-generated film. This artwork interprets a single narrative from multiple perspectives, utilizing artificial intelligence tools and data analysis to explore communication within intimate relationships. It explores non-verbal cues such as facial expressions and eye contact duration to analyse power dynamics.
