Sharol Ahluwalia
About
Sharol Ahluwalia (India, 2001) is a ceramic artist based in London. She is dedicated to exploring the complex and multifaceted concept of home. Her work delves into themes of rest, vulnerability, and human interconnectedness, evoking a deep sense of belonging and introspection. Drawing inspiration from her experiences as a yoga teacher and her extensive social interactions, Sharol uncovers the common threads that define our collective understanding of home. Her ceramics symbolize the woven tapestry of shared human experiences, inviting viewers to reflect on their own definitions of home and its emotional significance.
Currently pursuing an MA in Ceramics and Glass at the Royal College of Art, her art serves as both a meditative practice and a profound exploration of what it means to find home within ourselves and in our connections with others. She aims to create a sanctuary where the fragments of our journeys come together, offering a unique perspective on the concept of home.
