Julia Agnieszka Issi (c.2002-) is a British Polish Jordanian Multidisciplinary Artist; Born in Zgierz, Poland, currently living in Maidenhead, UK and is based in Maidenhead and London.

Through her Drawings and Writings, she explores the Mental Condition in relation to her personal experiences with Chronic Pain and Generalised Anxiety Disorder.

Her practice blueprints small worlds, reimagining them visually to bridge the gap between her personal experience and external world , immersing the viewer into her Small Fragment of Reality – her ‘Umwelt’.

As an Artist, Julia aims to create a platform for not only sharing her experiences with Mental Health and Disability but to strengthen interpersonal empathy in the Contemporary Arts. Also, to encourage honest dialogues about the unsavoury and disturbing parts of the human experience – blurring the lines between Reality and Fiction, Pain and Pleasure, Fear and Acceptance.

Julia completed her MA in Contemporary Arts Practice at the Royal College of Arts, London ; as well as being awarded a First Class Honours in BA (hons) At UAL Chelsea College of Arts, London.

In 2024, she has received a nomination for the New Blood Art Prize 2024, and shortlisted for the Heralbony Art Prize 2024
