Teri Stevens
About
Teri Stevens is an MA student in the V&A/RCA History of Design Programme.
During the MA, Teri has researched (1) the design change of manual wheelchairs from 1949 to 1990, (2) the conception, production, and consumption of a piece of 1950s music merchandise and its broader historical context of manufacture, and (3) the British athletes’ clothing in the Olympic and Paralympic Games during the 1980s.
A current heritage professional, Teri is interested in sharing stories through objects. Teri has worked for the National Trust, the National Trust for Scotland, and the National Paralympic Heritage Trust. She also supported the organisation of the V&A/RCA History of Design Symposium, where she was the submission manager and a speaker.
