About

Lynn Zhang is a contemporary jewellery artist whose work encompasses jewellery and metal vessels. She graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2023, and she is pursuing a master’s degree at the Royal College of Art. Merging traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, she explores themes of time and balance through kinetic vessels that contrast motion with stillness. Her passion for metalwork is evident, emphasising materiality and inviting deep contemplation on balance, motion, and visual illusion. Her art aims to capture and reflect on the perception of time, encouraging viewers to consider how time shapes our experiences and environment. Through her pieces, Lynn offers a unique visual and tactile exploration of time’s fleeting and dynamic nature.
