About

I’m Siying Li.

My work “We are all stardust”. It’s a real-time interactive jewellery between body and computer. The effect made by TouchDesigner.

Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics. You are all stardust.

-Lawrence M. Krauss

Particles, the simplest and most fundamental units, make up the vast universe and complex us. It took 13.8 billion years from particle to human. I want to through human-computer interaction to achieve a two-way backtracking of technology and particles. Looking forward is the particle, looking back is the technology. With technology to go back to the starting point, with particles to witness the change.
