Cieszymir Bylina
About
Cieszymir Bylina is a London-based Polish visual artist whose practice explores the intersection of Polish folklore, Slavic mythology, and cyberpunk aesthetics. A graduate of the Royal College of Art with MA in Painting and University of the Arts London with a BA in Graphic Design, Bylina brings a multidisciplinary approach to his artistic expression.
His works traverse diverse mediums, including painting, concept art, and 3D modelling, each contributing to his immersive storytelling. His narratives unfold across intricate visual landscapes, where ancient myths intertwine with technological marvels, prompting viewers to question the boundaries between past and future, tradition and innovation.
Bylina’s unique visual language is further enhanced by integration of augmented reality (AR) elements within his paintings. This innovative approach invites viewers to actively engage with his work, deepening their immersion in the narrative and transforming the act of observation into an interactive experience.
Through this fusion of traditional artistry and cutting-edge technology, Bylina challenges conventional notions of artistic expression and encourages a dynamic dialogue between heritage, technology, and the evolving nature of identity in the 21st century.
