Niko Raič
About
Niko Raič (b.1999) is a Croatian artist working in the UK, Poland and Austria. His practice spans painting, print, sound and performance.
Raic is currently pursing an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art (UK), having completed his BA and MA in Painting at the Jan Dlugosz Academy (2018-2023, PL), for which he received the Austrian Academic Excellence Mobility Grant (2018-2023). Influenced by a musical education at the Johann Joseph Fux Conservatory (AT, 2003-2018) and extraordinary studies at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy (PL, 2022-2023) his projects frequently contaminate the spheres of sound and image making.
Recent projects include ‘The light the day gave’ at Brompton Cemetery Chapel (2024, UK), the SustainLab annual exhibition at the Royal College of Art (2024, UK), staging of ‘Muzyczna Kolacja’ at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (2023, PL) and his solo presentation ‘Chromatic_Code’ at OPK Gaude Mater (2023, PL).
