Nuo Chen
About
Nuo Chen is an artist from China. She expresses her comprehension and observation of the contemporary cityscape through an abstract visual language. On the canvas, she uses highly saturated and strongly contrasting colours to create a neon-like texture and employs lines of varying shades and thicknesses as metaphors for the rhythm of urban life. With the rapid pace of life, coupled with the influence of the internet, people gradually lose themselves in an overwhelming material world. She explores the uniqueness of individual life, the richness of individual spirit, and the existence of individual beliefs in the high-speed city life with this visual language, aiming to resonate with the audience.
