About

“Painting for me is like a cosmic ordering, thinking of things that I want and feeling good about them before they manifest. I see my painting as a living creature, some parts swiftly painted, others unfolding with gradual bursts of colour and shape, composed of different line weights with various tempos. In pushing these expressive behaviours, I uncover hues and patterns that hint at the mysteries of existence.”

I view everything in motion, even seemingly static objects. Inspired by quantum physics, I like to think of objects as a constant atomic vibration.  In my paintings I try to dissolve imaginary landscapes on a  molecular level and distort the images. Mark making is akin to musicians shaping sounds. I use painting as a personal journey responding to my ideas through abstract transcriptions.
