Guo’s art is deeply influenced by Francis Bacon, Max Ernst, and Salvador Dalí. Through experimental techniques and self-exploration, she authentically translates her personal experiences of violence and body image challenges onto the canvas. Her work reflects her views on body awareness, self-acceptance, and societal norms through the deconstruction and reconstruction of the human form. Driven by a desire to understand herself and the world, Guo’s creations is shaped by her unique perspective. Her art serves as a vessel, reflecting society, life, and her emotions, encompassing elements of complexity, absurdity, melancholy, and struggle.Through her work, Guo invites viewers to explore their relationships with materiality, illusion, and mortality, aiming to evoke resonance and self-reflection. She seeks to raise awareness about violence and its profound impact, hoping to connect with her audience and foster shared understanding.
