Chalk Luo
About
Chalk Luo, born in 1994, grew up in the poor countryside of China but always had a desire to explore the world. After graduation, he worked hard and now has his own photography studio in Shanghai, specializing in still life commercial photography. Whether it’s commercial or fine art photography, Chalk always prioritizes light as the foundation. Different lighting techniques help express various emotions. With his unique upbringing, his works often focus on the relationship between people and the passage of time. As he grows older, his camera goes beyond capturing simple beauty and delves into the stories behind the photos, reflecting his thoughts about the world. For him, the camera is just a creative tool, and what matters most is the thought process before pressing the shutter.
