Julia Bohle is a german artist, in her practice she is exploring a sensual approach to photography and seeking a deep translation of the inner self in the photographic image. Her work mainly delves into the complexity of identity and the representation of feelings, emotions and nocturnal perceptions. She positions herself within contemporary discourse on femininity, the embodied self, and its intricate desires and anxieties. Inner Landscapes, describes a photographic journey into the psychological depths of the human experience, framed by the metaphor of the night. This project captures the unseen emotional and mental terrains that shape our inner worlds. Using the night as a symbol of the unconscious mind, each image delves into themes of introspection, self-discovery, and solitude.
