About

Elisa Dublanc is an artist and designer based in London, born in Argentina in 1986. Dublanc’s work explores the relationship between humans and nature. She focuses on the individual and collective experience of our ongoing inner transformations in relation to our natural environment. Dublanc’s work delves into and emphasises how that relationship can shift from control and extraction while we are immersed and brainwashed by the helpless and static collective experience, to one of respect and dialogue.

Dublanc’s artistic practice is expressed through multiple media including drawing, etching, screenprint, monoprints and textile exploration. She works with lines as limits and as an energy forming surface, moving between figuration and abstraction using handmade processes and natural materials.

Dublanc also works as a designer, with almost two decades of experience designing editorial projects, textile prints, corporate identities, photography, illustration, and other commissions, privileging working with cultural ecologically conscious organizations and artists.

Dublanc was awarded with the Printmakers Council Sheila Sloss Award 2024.
