Zehui Chen
About
Zehui Chen is an illustration designer. She was interested in creating stories. When she was a child, she developed a deep love for novels, poetry, and films. Through these, she could feel the emotions from authors, and they helped her to relieve the stress of her daily life. As she grew up, she noticed that art could clear her mind and solve problems. After that, she began looking for ways to express various narratives.
Art became her therapy. At this stage, she is solving her own issues while also being curious about other people’s stories and experiences, and how they solve their problems. And she would like to include their stories in her work in the future.
She used to focus on traditional books. She tried to express textual stories and looked for her favorite styles and artists (like Alphonse Mucha). And she explored printmaking at that time; she went deeply into it. She’s been constantly searching for more engaging ways to express stories.
