About

Hey there! I’m Advait Rajadhyaksha, an award-winning visual storyteller currently based in London but originally from Mumbai, where traffic is our daily cardio and everything’s a potential movie plot. I pursued a Bachelor in Film and Animation Design from MIT Institute of Design and then I flew across the world to get my M.A. in Animation from the Royal College of Art, where I learned that tea and biscuits are basically sacred.

Apart from making a ton of animated short films under my personal label of Schrodinger’s studio on Instagram, I have also previously worked on numerous projects for amazing companies like Skoda, Volkswagen, Rockefeller Foundation, Disney, Discovery, etc. My practice is all about the slice-of-life genre, with either a hefty dose of comedy or melancholy. For my story-writing, I draw inspiration from real-life – things that I see, hear or feel. I believe that weaving such personal experiences in a story often makes it relatable and enriches the experience.  I love mixing things up with traditional/digital 2D animation and stop-motion, but I never let myself get boxed into just one style. I mean, why settle for one way to make people laugh or feel when there are so many? This playful approach not only defines my artistic signature but also opens new possibilities in visual storytelling.

So, if you’re into stories that find the extraordinary in the mundane, or just enjoy a good laugh at the absurdities of life, you’re in the right place. After all, life’s too short not to find peace in the little things, like my attempt at growing a beard during art school. Spoiler : It was more “patchy” than “hipster”.
