Qiao Huang
About
My name is Qiao Huang, born in Jiangxi, China, in 1993. From a young age, my life has been intertwined with drawing, a passion nurtured by sketching portraits of my friends and family. Influenced by Japanese manga, I began creating original short comics during my middle school years, receiving positive feedback that fueled my creative drive.
Studying in Japan introduced me to animation, and I became fascinated with this dynamic form of storytelling through exaggerated movements. I joined Japanese animation companies, contributing to renowned projects such as “Yu-Gi-Oh!“, “NARUTO“, “Attack on Titan“, and “Batman: Gotham by Gaslight”. Many of the scenes I worked on are featured on the world’s largest animation sharing platform, SAKUGA BOORU.
I also served as a CG Animation Director for NetEase, where I created CG animations for the acclaimed SLG game “Infinite Borders“, which ranked ninth in global SLG game revenue.
I am passionate about exploring the theme of nihilism in surrealism. My works often explore the futility and emptiness of human existence. Recently, I have been looking for ways to incorporate more elements of Chinese culture (my own culture) into my artwork, and since I have rarely paid attention to the traits in myself in the past, this has been a new journey of finding myself. In the future, I will set up my own animation studio and create more animation art works.
