This installation is a part of "Welcome in", which gives the viewer a sense of the contrast between a physical home visit and a digital one by altering the way it is viewed.

This research-based book is one part of "Welcome in", which interprets homes space in different historical periods from the perspectives of personal space and public space, respectively.

pig07 is a project that has built a new world, about xenotransplantation, constructing a medical centre for the cultivation of organs and pups. In the future, people can transplant organs that have the same DNA as themselves. https://youtu.be/pfN-4enayfg

In my project titled' A journey of a flower', I've endeavored to capture the essence of a flower's life by documenting the sounds it encounters. This is a project that includes sound design and 3D scene building, exploring the adventures and dreams of a flower.

About

Han Zhou is a designer whose background in fashion design and graphics, coupled with her working experience in the fashion industry, has shaped her profound interest in social relations and ethnography. In her past field, she specialised in merchandise planning and trend forecasting. Her practice at RCA also incorporates past experiences, as she tries to find out about life and engage in interdisciplinary practice to convey information effectively.

In her graduation work, she started with room tour, reflecting on the relationship between digital and physical forms of home socialisation. It explores the changing boundaries between the private and public spaces of the home by examining the historical evolution of domestic space. The project aims to reveal the underlying truth about room tour videos and other social media content. This hidden space and selective exposure highlight the curated nature of these tours, prompting viewers to question the authenticity and completeness of what they see.
