Zizhen Li
About
Zizhen Li is a creator who focuses on experiences and emotions. Zizhen Li usually seek inspiration from personal experiences and social events, and communicate through her works to arouse the audience’s empathy.
The project “IUD: Forgotten Time Bomb” was inspired by Zizhen Li’s mother’s experience of using the IUD. After research, Zizhen Li realized that this is a topic that has a wide impact on women but has been ignored. Create a multi-sensory space that incorporates visual animation, mixed-material installations and sound to explore the impact of IUDs on women’s reproductive health. The aim is to create a multi-sensory environment that engages the audience visually, aurally and tactilely, encouraging them to connect more deeply with the subject matter and evoking empathy in the audience.
Zizhen Li is an illustrator with varied styles who is also exploring other forms of creation. The project IUD: Forgotten Time Bomb is a new attempt.
