About

I am Chaolu Wang. Having studied oil painting as an undergraduate and visual communication design in graduate school, I have gained a diverse background and skill set. I am interested in interactive installations, immersive experiences, generative art, and 3D render films.

I am eager to learn and apply rigorous research methodologies specific to digital direction. I aim to develop my critical thinking abilities and cultivate a strong conceptual foundation in this field. Additionally, I want to refine my ability to articulate and express design concepts and ideas. I value opportunities to collaborate with peers and experts from diverse disciplines within the program.

My interests lie in extending my artistic practice and exploring its professional potential. I am motivated to engage with the community to contribute to the future of these fields and address current and emerging challenges. I have always been concerned with humanity’s exploration of survival issues and have been committed to this exploration for a long time. I enjoy speculative design and envisioning the future survival environment for humanity, inviting viewers to join me in creating a better future. I hope to pursue a doctorate in the future.
