Junghyun Kim
About
Junghyun Kim is a designer and director based in both Korea and London, specializing in digital art. Her work is dedicated to exploring the boundaries between the digital and physical worlds, with a particular focus on how these realms intersect and influence our perceptions of reality.
At the heart of Kim’s practice is a deep exploration of interaction and narrative within digital spaces. She creates immersive environments where audiences are not just passive observers, but active participants in the unfolding story. By crafting these interactive experiences, Kim challenges conventional perceptions of space and presence, questioning how the virtual and real can merge to form new, dynamic modes of engagement and understanding.
By manipulating digital landscapes to create immersive worlds, she invites audiences to engage deeply with the narrative, encouraging them to explore the often-blurred lines between online and offline realities.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Kim is committed to pushing the boundaries of digital design and direction. She continuously explores how emerging technologies can be harnessed to create compelling and thought-provoking interactive experiences, inviting audiences into complex, immersive narratives that challenge and expand their understanding of the interconnected world we inhabit.
