About

Paul Baule is an award-winning multi-media creative and XR storyteller. Uniting immersive art, science communication and environmental advocacy, his work aims to redefine how we convey ecological crisis, by bringing them close to people, by making them unmissable, experienceable and emotionally tangible.

After finishing his Bachelor’s degree in Social and Economic Communication at the University of the Arts Berlin Paul conceptualised, designed and executed complex cross-media projects on topics like climate change, biodiversity loss and sustainable development with partners like Greenpeace, the German Institute for Human Rights, Climate Analytics, GermanZero and Client Earth – contributing to the first climate proceedings before the International Court of Justice, among others.

Paul’s work has been shown at London’s world-famous Outernet, exhibited at the IRCAM Forum in Paris and recognised with the 2024 Innovate UK Immersive Tech Award. He is in the process of setting up NIGH – his own design studio at the intersection of art, science and environmental sustainability, the concept of which has already made him a finalist in the prestigious Terra Carta Design Lab – a global competition launched by his Majesty King Charles III and Sir Jony Ive.
