Ning is an artist specializing in digital expression and visual creation. She excels at observing the intersections and transformations of her multiple identities within various environmental structures, exploring their multifaceted dimensions and underlying societal implications. Through digital media, experimental and documentary filmmaking, interactive installations, and graphic visual communication, she aims to provoke audiences to contemplate their own positions and roles within society, and how these identities are shaped and influenced by their environment and culture.
In her latest project, Synthetic Love that explores the role of artificial intelligence in intimacy and loneliness through a digital film created using technologies like Blender and stable diffusion (AI). This project examines both the positive and negative impacts of AI, encouraging young viewers, particularly in a capitalist context, to reflect on AI, emotional connections, and privacy.
