About

Xuejing (Jing) Chen is a visionary 3D media artist who skillfully navigates the realms of visual and auditory art.   Jing currently splits her time between London and Shanghai, which significantly influence her work.   She graduated from the London College of Communication (LCC) with a degree in Illustration and Visual Media (IVM) in 2023.   She further honed her artistic and technical skills by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Digital Direction (DD) from the prestigious Royal College of Art (RCA) in 2024.

 

Jing’s artistic practice is a vibrant blend of 3D imagery, graphic design, and sound production.   Her work is deeply rooted in the exploration of the living environments and societal perceptions of Generation Z. She utilizes her expertise in visual video works and music to delve into the unique ways Generation Z interacts with and interprets the contemporary world. and Jing’s creative process is driven by her keen observation and analysis of her peers’ experiences and environments.   Her aim is to unearth and define the distinct “art” that resonates with Generation Z, a generation marked by rapid technological advancements and profound cultural shifts.   By capturing their essence through immersive visual and auditory experiences, she seeks to provide insights into their collective consciousness and societal outlook.
