Sanjay Thinagar
About
Sanjay Thinagar is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in London, whose practice navigates the intersections of sound, film, and new media. With a background in industrial design, Sanjay’s work interrogates the complex relationships between memory, its mediums, and associated practices. His research-driven approach combines traditional design methodologies with experimental techniques, creating immersive experiences that challenge conventional notions of remembrance and archival. Sanjay’s projects often blur the boundaries between the tangible and the digital, exploring how memories are formed, stored, and recalled in an increasingly technologically mediated world. Through his work, he aims to provoke dialogue about the malleability of personal and collective memory, and the role of emerging technologies in shaping our understanding of the past, present, and future.
