About
My work aims to create human–centred designs. I’m constantly fascinated by psychology and sociology and use it to transform complex systems into playful, simplified narratives that spark curiosity. I never DO without answering WHY because I believe our lives are already surrounded by clutter. I would say that I’m particularly skilled in using digital software to create products that can enrich lives. I’m also particularly excited about the current opportunities to leverage new technologies like XR and AI, in the research and communication processes.
Underneath it all, I’m driven by the need to provoke meaningful dialogue that engages the youth in urgent matters. I have been working towards this goal over the last year with the project “Ocean’s Rebirth”. It is an immersive VR game that speculates ocean futures and marine extinction. It leverages green gaming initiatives and game design theories to highlight our interconnected ecosystems. This particular project was part of the Reverse Alchemy initiative and developed in collaboration with Meta Reality Labs x RCA x Korea National University of Arts. It was also displayed in the Hyundai Centre in Seoul, Korea.
I have also participated in several interesting research projects such as NurtureKnot and ReBreathe which are service design projects that focus on systemic change. They are both services for global communities and are founded based on real-world qualitative and ethnographic research. Moreover, all these pieces showcase my ability to define and engage with diverse audiences.
So to sum it up, I’m interested in Products, People, and the Planet!
